What would Halloween be without a little friendly ghost? A little friendly amigurumi ghost! This pattern is very simple and I almost wasn’t going to post it, but the little guy is so cute I couldn’t resist! You can whip up a bunch of them in no time flat. Of course, I wouldn’t do that, as I have mentioned, I don’t like to make more than one of anything except for guinea pigs!

Ghost
Size: approximately 2-1/2 inches tall
Materials:
- Worsted Weight Yarn. I used Red Heart Super Saver in White
- Size G Hook
- Stitch marker (I use a small piece of a contrasting color yarn)
- 6 mm half round Darice Round eyes – 2
- Small piece of black yarn for mouth
Gauge: Not important
Abbreviations: sc = single crochet, ch = chain, st = stitch
Notes: Rounds are worked in continuous spirals, do not join. Do not turn at the end of each round.
- With white, ch 2
- 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Mark first st for beginning of round and move marker up for each round.
- *2 sc, 1 sc in each of next three sc* around – 10
- sc in each sc – 10
- sc in each sc – 10
- *2 sc, 1sc in each of next 4 sc* around – 12
- sc in each sc – 12
- *2 sc, 1 sc in each of next 5 sc* around – 14
- *2 sc, 1 sc in each of next 6 sc* around – 16
- sc in each sc – 16
- sc in each sc – 16
- sc in each sc – 16
- At end of last round work a slip stitch, finish off and weave in yarn end.
Using black yarn sew on mouth, and glue on eyes if you are using 6mm half round eyes. I use a low temperature glue gun.
