I remember going to a parade with one of my aunts that was held to honor our troops that served in Desert Storm.  They played this song when a group of disabled veterans were going down the parade route in a bus.  Goosebumps.

Angela also tagged me for a meme.  The rules:

You might remember that I have done this meme before, but because of the way I name my folders, the sixth folder is always changing.  This time my sixth in the sixth is a photo that I used in my Upside Down and Sideways post.  Here it is:

The story – I was not having the best of days and I got an Advil out of the bottle and set it onto the kitchen counter and saw the cool shadow it made!  I don’t remember for sure, but I’m guessing this brightened my day!  It’s the simple things that can do that!

I’m not going to tag anyone specifically, but I would love to see some sixth in the sixths!

Have a fun, safe holiday weekend!  They are actually forecasting three days of no rain for us!  Woohoo!  If this happens I think it will be the first time since May that we’ve had three days in a row without rain.  Now we just need sun (clouds, please leave), and warmth (it would be so exciting if we could get up to 80 degrees!)  I hope I’m not asking for too much!
