I’m not good at goodbyes, even when it is saying goodbye to an entire year.  I feel sad and nostalgic for the years past when my children were little.  I see how quickly time passes and want to slow it down.  It’s not all bad to feel this way.  I think it helps me to enjoy the here and now even more.  I love each precious moment that I spend with them.

My 16 year old son got his learners permit yesterday!  He turned 16 a while ago, but only now decided that he is ready for that huge step.  What a year 2010 will be!

There is a light and gentle snow falling today.  It seems like a perfect way to end a year.  Be safe tonight and I hope you ring in the New Year with people that you love!
