The sun is shining!  Yippee!  I will ignore the fact that it is cold outside and there’s snow on the ground.

I spend a lot of time sitting at my tiny, two-person kitchen table looking at my plants and the sunshine.  It is the only south-facing window we have and I take full advantage of it in these early days of spring when it is just too cold to enjoy the sun outside!

I can hardly believe that November is almost over.  I can say (with fingers crossed) that it is ending better than it began.   I have been so thankful for all of your friendship and words of encouragement.  You guys (gals) are the best!  I am looking hopefully towards December!  I hope to visit you all very soon!

The fall leaves were looking so pretty.  We’re having a lot of rain today and many of the leaves are falling now.

Things have been tough here lately.  It seems most things make me want to cry.  Even this look at the last of the summer flowers, which I thought would bring me a smile, bring the wishes that things were as happy and easy now as they were during the summer.  How do you handle seeing your child unhappy, knowing that you’re doing your best (praying that you’re doing the right thing) to make it better, but it’s not getting better?  How can I expect her to think positive thoughts when it’s so hard for me to?  I know these are huge questions, and I really don’t expect an answer.

I think September was an all time low of photo taking for me since I got my nice camera.  Less than 80 photos.  Comparing that to my usual 400 plus per month, and I’d say it was quite an all time low.  Hopefully, I’ll pick up my old friend a little bit more in October.  It’s getting dusty!

How is your October going?  Has it gotten off to a good start?
