I took this photo of my daughter on her thirteenth birthday.  I took a whole series of photos of her, but this out-of-focus, soft shot is one of my favorites.

My sweet girl, when you were little I had no idea how wonderful it would be to have a thirteen year old daughter.  You are such a warm caring young woman.  You are my friend.  I am so proud of the person that you are!

The Stress Test

  1. On a scale of 1 – 10 how stressed are you today (or at the moment).
  2. Draw a picture of yourself when you aren’t stressed and very happy at the place/doing what you are stressed about.  (If you don’t know, then just draw yourself happy ^_^)
  3. Draw yourself a reward for not being stressed!  (Can be made up.)
  4. List (or draw) some things that you are doing to try and keep your cool!
  5. Think of a cartoon character, or any character – Draw it!
  6. Now make up your own cartoon character – Also draw it!
  7. Now draw a picture of your character and the other character meeting each other!  (Include background!!!)
  8. Draw your character doing a hobby.
  9. Draw your character as a super hero.
  10. Draw your character as a villian!  (‘”\(*_*)/’”)
  11. On a scale of 1 – 10 how stressed are you now?
  12. Reward yourself for at least trying this test!

If you prefer writing over drawing, just write down your answers instead of drawing them!  Use a lot of descriptive words.
