We had a fun mini vacation! The problem is, we came home to the monthly bill for our health insurance. It has been raised to $2,000 per month, $24,000 per year! It makes me sick just looking at those numbers. This comes at a time when my husband has had very little work for the past year and a half. I don’t have time to post any photos of vacation today because I’ll be researching other insurance alternatives. Wish me luck.

Oh, sweetie, how stressful. I’ll be sending you happy, stress-free, cheap (but reliable!) insurance thoughts today…

That is a huge hike in price… ouch! Do hope you will find another, more reasonable option, Gayle. Glad you had the vacation… hope sifting through the memories will ease the stress.

Gayle, please look into a state supplemented insurance. A lot of friends who also happen to be self-employed have it and it’s cheaper than purchasing straight from the insurance company. Sorry about that! What a pain.

Oh, man. $2,000?!? That’s ridiculous! I hope you’re able to find something more reasonable.
