I was in need of an easy and quick heart pattern. My 10 month old's blanket developed a whole and she wouldn't leave it alone causing it to tear a little. I knew I had to do something fast as this was her comfort blanket as well (of course!!). I happened upon this site and was so thankful. It took less than minutes to crochet up a quick heart from some floss and then sew it right over the hole of which my toddler didnt even notice 'mommy was messin with my blanket'. Whew! Life Saver!! Thanks so much for creating this pattern and posting it. It will come in handy much in the future for patching up some jeans for my 7 year old as well!! Thank you soo much. How did you get the spiral without slip stitches? Did you mean 4 dc on #11 instead of 3? I crochet carnations that are a lot more complicated than this. Perhaps this is too simple for me!!
