It was a beautiful day yesterday, a chilly night last night and it is a beautiful day today! The cicadas are singing their summer songs. There is a cool breeze blowing.

Zucchini plants that provide Hector with food. Us, too. Well, the four out of five of us that will eat zucchini. A certain teen-aged boy looks at me incredulously when I offer him some.
My new little table and chairs. I adore them. This is the only south facing window in our house, and my kitchen is the sunniest room in the house. I love that we now have a little spot to enjoy some tea and feel the warmth of the sun! Won’t you join me? I’m making a yummy summer fruit kuchen today.
