We have had rain, rain and more rain.  We’ve got mushrooms growing all over the yard and the grass is growing like crazy!  I was waiting for my two youngest kids to get home from school yesterday and was surveying my plants between rain showers and I saw this.  My ornamental grass holding the most beautiful water droplets.  Look closely, can you see the little one trying to escape?!

After the school bus arrived, my youngest son took some photos and we talked about how cool photos look when they’re taken with a macro lens.  (I don’t have one.)  About 10 minutes later my boy came to me and said, “We gotta get a macro lens.”   I love that kid!

Go on over to chookooloonks to see more Love Thursday!

How beautiful. If this is what you do without a macro lens, yeah, you’ve got to get one! It will be fantastic.

We have rain too! How weird is it this year? Rain all the time. But at least you have the opportunity to get some gorgeous captures!

We could sure use some of your rain — we’re in a drought again this year.

There are mushrooms coming up in my garden, too. They aren’t there one day and are 5 inches tall the next. I am pretty sure it is an alien invasion. I would take pictures for you, if I had a macro lens.
