Who Left Those Tracks?

January 17th, 2009 · 8 Comments

One of my favorite things to do after we have a fresh snow is to go outside and see what has left tracks in our yard during the night.

Deer and Rabbit TracksDeer and Rabbit! I guess Deer drag their feet!

Rabbit TracksRabbit, so cool!

Bird TracksBird.

I always feel bad for the birds during the winter.  How warm can feathers keep you?

Timmy TracksWhat, oh what could have made these?

Timmy!Ah, yes, Timmy Frozen Toes!

Are your toes somewhere warm this weekend? Mine are in two pairs of socks and slippers.  I’m hoping to stay inside today!

What a fun thing to do. My kids LOVE doing that…although after inspection of the footprints they become convinced there is a bear lurking somewhere in our backyard!

My feet are getting cold just looking at those photos! Stay inside and warm today!

I’ll bet the birds are toasty … think about down comforters or down jackets!

My kids usually see dog footprints and become convinced there is a cougar lurking nearby. Fun in the snow!

    Hi donna!
Hahaha! Yes, we have found some footprints that convince us that there is something big lurking in the woods!

    Hi Stephanie!
I did stay in today! I spent a little time crocheting and a lot of time blog hopping.

    Hi Shalet!
I never thought of that! Of course!

This is so cool! Oh, how I wish we had snow on the ground so I could do something like this with my kids.

Deer dragging feet? Lazy deer? :)

    Hi Lynn!

I know, isn’t that funny?! We have fresh snow again today. I’ll have to see if we’ve got more lazy deer!
