I took this photo of my daughter on her thirteenth birthday. I took a whole series of photos of her, but this out-of-focus, soft shot is one of my favorites.

Found this thru shuttersisters…I smiled because when my daughter turned 13 back in July we did a photo session too

Yes, time does fly, way too quickly! My oldest, a son is almost 16. I can’t believe my baby is almost 16!

I love the effect! I am always trying to get the focus right and ignore all the shots I take out of focus. I must learn to see the art quality in different styles of shots. I just love this!

We have six months to thirteen …the teenage years will be fine for our oldest, a boy. The girls I’m not so sure …

My oldest is a son. He will be 16 next month. I also find my boys easier than my daughter in lots of ways, but she is handling the middle school years very nicely. Way better than I did!
