Birthday Markers!
This past weekend was a lot of fun. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday on Friday night with presents and pizza. Then we celebrated her birthday with my husband’s parents on Saturday night at a restaurant. Then we celebrated on Sunday night by having my daughter’s choice of a favorite home cooked meal. She picked chicken burritos, but she wasn’t very happy with them. We had made them a while ago and she thought she liked them then. I used a recipe from Allrecipes.com. If anybody has a great burrito recipe let me know!
My teen-aged son did not perform on Friday night. We had a lot of rain on Friday and the forecast was for plummeting temperatures. The organizing teacher was concerned about the possibility of ice on the roads. So…it is re-scheduled for March! My son and his buddies got together and practiced THE WHOLE SONG, thank goodness. He feels they need more practice, so it was good that it has been postponed. Now, hopefully, they will continue to practice!

Clay Tree!
My youngest son made us another beautiful clay creation. A Christmas Tree!
We partially decorated for Christmas. Our tree has lights, but that’s all so far! (That’s Timmy’s rear end in the photo. I certainly can’t do anything without his assistance!)

Timmy helped with the Christmas lights.
My youngest son and daughter spent a couple of hours making and testing paper airplanes. It left a happy colorful mess on the floor! (That’s Polly’s tail in the photo below. She has to assist with things, too!)

Polly supervised paper airplane construction.
Oh, and I need to take back all of the rude things I thought about the Wordpress people when I couldn’t size my photos the way I did before the upgrade. Wordpress people, I apologize. I figured out the image sizing!
