Kitchen Rainbows

October 18th, 2008 · 9 Comments

“Counter This” is this week’s Superhero Photo Challenge at Shutter Sisters.  I love this challenge because I don’t even need to leave my house to participate!  My image is not of something on my counter.  There is definitely nothing I want to show you that’s on my kitchen counter.  It holds lots of school papers and other non-photogenic items!  I’m giving you my kitchen window prism and the small rainbows that it creates to make my kitchen cheerful!

Here’s a rainbow Timmy shot:

Timmy, of course, loves being in the kitchen.  You never know when a morsel of food might fall!

I don’t know a single person that won’t stop dead in their tracks to admire the beauty of a rainbow. It has makes me smile!

    Hi Steph!

That’s true! We have seen several rainbows in the sky behind our house and every time (not often) we have rain and sun at the same time, we all run to the backyard to look for a rainbow!

i just happen to come here today and saw this kitchen rainbow. It reminded me of a post i did a few weeks ago. We always had a prism in our kitchen when I was growing up. I loved searching for the rainbow colors every morning.
