Be sure it is no less than six in the mini van for 6 days. 2. Be sure that 17 year old brings all dirty clothes and asks 30 minutes into trip when we can get her clothes washed 3. Be sure teenagers have a favorite song to sing 415 times just in the first 5 hours of the trip. 4. Be sure that the younger children have a laser pointer to shine out the hotel/motel windows scaring pedestrians to death - especially in DC 5. Be sure when sibling rivalry takes over to open the mini van door so hard that it comes off in your hand - right before a clap of thunder and torrential rain begin ahhh, family vacations and the smiles they DO leave. Whooo Hooo – can I relate!
