Just a quick post to tell you we’re back home from vacation! It feels good to be back, but at the same time a little sad because it was so great for us to be together without the usual interruptions of life. Speaking of usual interruptions…since we got home I have:
- unpacked
- washed three loads of clothes
- tweezed eyebrows (phew, that really needed to be done!)
- brought youngest child to 6th grade orientation
- stopped at other school to pick up baskets I forgot to bring home in June after a school celebration
- got lunch meats on the way home
- returned DVDs to library on the way home
- done my best to teach my daughter a little bit about hand sewing (more on this later!)
- started dinner cooking
- hugged and loved the other members of our family, our pets (we did this first!)
Still have to do:
- more laundry (how can five people wear so many clothes!)
- finish cooking dinner
- clean guinea pig cage
- vacuum (dogs apparently shed a lot in five days)
- help daughter finish her sewing creation (this is not a chore, though, it’s fun!)
